On Saturday 19th
July 2003, we all went to Leeds
Castle for the day. Some went
by minibus and some used their
own transport. Ian Connelly,
was the interpreter, we looked
round the castle and Ian interpreted
what the guide was saying, it
was a very interesting tour.
The weather was very hot and
we all had our lunch in the
grounds. After lunch we all
had a go at the Maze. While
everyone struggled to find their
way to the centre, some made
it quick and some with difficulty.
Eventually some of them had
to ask for help, but finally
made it. The weather got so
hot, so we all had a water fight
to cool us down. It was fun.
Later on that day we got the
games kit out from the minibus.
Everyone played a game of rounders,
it was lovely to relax and play
on a hot sunny day. Well we
were all so lucky, by evening
it poured down with rain!
